How to get to Disneyland Paris?
There are many ways to get to Disneyland Paris, regardless of where in the Paris metro area you’re staying, or passing through on a day trip. Here are our recommendations:
From Paris:
Arrive by RER Train: The RER train is one of the city’s most efficient forms of transportation, and there’s a stop a mere 5-minute walk from the park gates. Take the RER line A4 train from Paris to the Marne-la-Vallée – Chessy station. From there it’s a quick and safe walk to either park, with proper signs guiding you where to go.
Drive: If you’re heading to Disneyland Paris by car from the center of Paris, you can hop on the A4 expressway and get to the parks via Exit 14. The parks are around 40 km (25 miles) from the city center, and traffic isn’t that bad during off-peak times and seasons. There’s plenty of paid parking available just outside the parks, and you can park for free if you stay at one of the Disney-branded hotels.
Take the Disneyland Paris Express: This is the most direct way to reach the parks if you’re not arriving by car. The Disneyland Paris Express is a shuttle bus that goes directly from Gare du Nord, Opera, Chatelet, and the Eiffel Tower right to the park. There are also shuttles that leave from both Paris airports. These shuttles all leave between 8:10am and 8:45am depending on where you board, and which one you take (the Eiffel Tower shuttle is a separate bus), so plan to leave early. Prices vary depending on the season, station, and ticket package.
Buy a Ticket that includes Transportation: The most popular package option for this is a Disneyland Express Ticket. This ticket option includes admission (with options for one park, or two), plus round-trip transportation on any of Disney’s Express Shuttle options from Paris or its airports. It’s a huge time-saver, and will spare you a ton of stress in the long run. You can also find package deals through Ticket Guide that include private car transport, and round-trip train tickets on the RER included with park admission. Check out all of the incredible tickets plus transport packages in our recommended listings!
From Charles de Gaulle International Airport:
Many of Disneyland Paris’ visitors come from other countries, which means that transportation from Paris’ main airport is a popular choice, and an important one. Here are your options if you’re arriving from Charles de Gaulle:
By Train: Take a TGV speed train directly from the airport to the park (fastest option), getting off at the Marne-la-Vallée station, or take the RER Line B (economic option) from Charles de Gaulle to Chatelet Les Halles in Paris, then switch to the A4 line, which will take you to the Marne-la-Vallée – Chessy station, a 5-minute walk from the gates.
The Magical Shuttle: This is a shuttle that has multiple daily trips between both Charles de Gaulle and Orly international airports. The shuttles also service all of the Disney hotels, and have free WiFi on board to keep you busy during your trip.
Private Car Transfer: If you want to travel in a more private way, taxis and private car services have flat rate fees for transportation directly to Disneyland Paris from Charles de Gaulle. This can get pricey if you’re on a limited budget but it is certainly the fastest and most comfortable way to reach the park from the airport.
